Leaving Panama a 6:00 a.m., enjoy Gatun Lake’s beauty. When the U.S. damned the Chagres River, it eventually became the world´s largest artificial lake when the Panama Canal was inaugurated on Aug. 15, 1914. Fishing is very common in this area. We will also take a boat tour around part of the Panama Canal, where we could watch the great amount of birds and other animals without getting off the boat. The return to the city will be around 1:00 p.m.
